Isn't fall break wonderful? I get to wander around the empty campus all weekend, sleep in, and allt hat jazz. I could go home, really. I live only twenty-thirty minutes away (depending on how you drive), but I don't have a car and I don't really feel like going back home. My brother stole my room and my mattress (it was the most comfortable one in the whole house!) and i'm left with his weird room. which i really shouldn't be in, considering I stay up all hours of the night and my parents freak out when that particular light is on all night (the room was an add-on, and the window in their bedroom to the outside is now a window to the inside of the other room). So I'm not going home.
Ah! But I went to the surgeon on tuesday. And my rib isn't separated. Nope. Instead, I have contichondritis (i think that's how you spell it), which is an inflammation of the cartilage around my ribcage. So the surgeon poked at me for a while, gave me some steroids, and sent me on my way. So far, the medication is only helping a little bit, but, then, I've only had it for a few days. So we'll see. He did say to come back if I didn't feel better by Friday, so...
Well, I hope this fall break is good.
